The co creator of Marvel Comics and the industry behind them, Stan Lee, has passed away at the age of 95 after a long battle with both his vision and pneumonia. Although being rushes from his Hollywood Hill home to the local Medical Center, the world renowned artist passed away a couple nights back.

Accompanied by the household name Jack Kirby, Lee went forward in solidifying a world which created characters within our favorite films such as The Fantastic Four, Spider Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, The Men, Iron Man, and most recently, The Avengers. The characters represented the reflections of the world everyone knew, while still carrying out of this world superpowers and abilities. The films provided and continue to provide an escape for all of Lee’s fans.

Actor Chris Evans tweeted out in honor of the creator. “There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!” The artist Travis Scott tweeted as well to show respect and love- “Thank u Stan Lee for everything.”
